  • Simba Education follows a minimum 2-day attendance policy to ensure that every child has the chance to fully participate in the learning programs, enhancing their learning experiences as well as their social and emotional development.

  • Our billing cycle is charged on a weekly basis via direct debit for child care fees, one week in advance. Statements are released on Wednesday each week, ahead of charges on Thursday and are available in the finance tab in our Parent App. The Primary Parent can also change & update payment methods at any time.

  • We operate from Monday to Friday (7am to 6pm). This excludes public holidays. Christmas closure: Our services close the last business Friday of the year and reopen on the first Monday following New Years Eve. The Christmas closure period is free of charge.

  • The reason we need to charge on public holidays is because we have everyday costs that take place, regardless of whether children are at the centre or not. Some early childhood services absorb their running costs into their fees making their daily rate higher. This may mean that you are paying for public holidays even if your child is not enrolled on a public holiday. The great news is that we also offer 4 weeks of holidays per year where you can get a 50% discount on your gap fee so that you can enjoy that time with your family without worrying about losing your child’s position.

    T&C’s apply.

  • Yes! We know you work hard and we want you to be able to enjoy time away with your family without the financial stress. We offer 4 weeks of holidays per year where you can get a 50% discount on your childcare gap fees.

  • Child Care Subsidy, also known as CCS, is an Australian Government program designed to assist families with the cost of childcare. The subsidy aims to make childcare more affordable and accessible for families. To work out an estimate of your out of pocket expenses, see the link below. A Customer Reference Number (CRN) will need to be provided to the centre to receive your Centrelink CCS co-contribution to your fees. See the link below to find out more about your Customer Reference Number. Your CCS activity levels are confirmed by Centrelink depending on your circumstances and will provide a number of hours of care each fortnight. To find out more information about CCS and eligibility, go to the Child Care Subsidy Information page on Services Australia available below.

  • Your subsidy will be subtracted from the full fees owing, leaving a gap fee which is the amount families pay to the Centre. The subsidy a family receives is determined by the Government and not by Simba Education. The amount depends on your family's employment and study activities. More information can be found in the link below.  Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to apply for Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) from the Government over and above the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). The Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) is a Temporary Financial Hardship payment designed to support families experiencing significant financial stress due to exceptional circumstances. To discuss your individual circumstances, please contact our service for further support.
